Not your typical chiropractic care!
Our quality chiropractors look at the big picture to address your pain and movement dysfunction. Chiropractic is an evidence-informed, non-invasive, hands-on health care discipline that focuses on the musculoskeletal system. Chiropractors practice primarily using their hands, providing diagnosis, treatment and preventive care for disorders related to the spine, pelvis, nervous system and joints. After taking a history, performing an examination and establishing a diagnosis, a chiropractor can develop and carry out a comprehensive treatment/management plan, recommend therapeutic exercise and other non-invasive therapies, and provide nutritional, dietary and lifestyle counselling.

A variety of chiropractic techniques are used including manual therapy and joint manipulation, muscle energy techniques, soft tissue & myofascial release, Functional Range Release®, specialized exercise programming, corrective and sport taping techniques, sport specific rehab and screening. Just like physiotherapy treatment sessions, other tools from our tool belt may be used including medical acupuncture or dry-needling.
Our Chiropractic care team focuses on restoring and maintaining the health of joints, muscles and nerve function.

If you’re suffering from aches, pains or strains, the time is right to arrange one on one hands-on chiropractic care with Cobblestone Medicine and Rehab. Our experienced chiropractors know how to get to the root of neuromusculoskeletal problems and administer the right treatment to relieve pain and restore normal function. Depending on the nature of your problem, this could take the form of manual adjustment, therapeutic exercises or even a personalized treatment plan that includes lifestyle and nutritional counselling.

Whether it’s neck pain, repetitive strain, a sports injury or a work-related ailment, our chiropractic services can help you enjoy a better health outcome — and you’ll find that our programs can be covered by extended healthcare plans, workers’ compensation plans, motor vehicle and other insurance plans. Chiropractic services can enhance your overall health and wellness, so contact us today to find out how we can help you overcome sore joints, back aches and other unwelcome pains.

You can expect our hands-on chiropractic care to:
Improve your posture and flexibility
Enhance movement in your neck, shoulders, back and torso
Provide relief from headaches, neck and back pain, including pregnancy-related issues
Treat and prevent work-related muscle and joint injuries
Help correct gait and foot problems

Do you often feel dizzy or experience vertigo, motion intolerance, a persistent sense of imbalance, or unsteadiness? If so, there’s a chance you may have vestibular dysfunction. The good news is that these symptoms can be treated and you can regain your quality of life.

Vestibular dysfunction is more common than you may realize. A recent epidemiological study estimates that as many as 35% of adults over the age of 40 have experienced some form of vestibular dysfunction in their lives. Fortunately, most causes of dizziness can be detected through a comprehensive eye exam. It has been found that 85% of cases are due to inner ear disturbance (vestibular dysfunction) and can be treated using Vestibular Rehabilitation.

Neuro-rehabilitation therapy allows us to retrain your brain and eyes to regain functionality and quality of life for those suffering from visual problems due to vestibular rehabilitation. It works by using a variety of methods and techniques to get both eyes to work as a team and see visual space accurately. This form of therapy, known as neuro-optometric rehabilitation therapy, is an effective treatment for reducing or resolving symptoms associated with vestibular dysfunction.

If you have (or suspect you have) vestibular dysfunction and/or suffer from dizziness, unsteadiness or motion intolerance, talk to our team of specialized therapists. We can help!

If you’re suffering from chronic or acute pain — such as headaches, neck or back pain, nerve pain, arthritis or tendonitis — and you’re looking for alternatives to medication and surgery, acupuncture may be right for you. Treatment involves the use of extremely thin sterile needles to reduce or relieve pain. The needles are inserted into specific points on the body that have been shown to correspond with specific points in your body’s nervous system. The stimulation of these nervous system points can result in pain relief, general relaxation and restoration of the nervous system’s normal state.

Many people find acupuncture to be relaxing and experience minimal discomfort during treatment. This treatment is safe and effective and is often used successfully as an alternative to drugs.
